Agree with all except 5. They have a whole section on companion animals and even go so far as to encourage neutering.

So who's applying?

As a sidebar, I've never understood how someone who loves animals could encourage neutering. I mean, their usual standard is to ask if you would do the same thing to a human, and I have to imagine the answer for that would be no.

Well you have to understand. Animals that aren't fixed just go around humping each other with reckless abandon and little concern for how the resulting offspring will make it in the world. Those offspring then often grow up in bad, overpopulated, fend-for-yourself environments, only to become the same thing their parents were; humping machines contributing to too many animals.

So in conclusion, we should begin castrating people.

ALF and crime linked to it
[ Goto page: 1, 2 ]
Arson is one of the few ALF activities that I can never make up my mind on. On the one hand, what's the point in liberating animals from a lab, leaving the lab in tact, only to have the abusers replace the animals taken with new ones?
On the other hand, as is mentioned before, there's no gaurantee that no-one will be hurt, especially small animals such as spiders and mice who live in the lab.

What do you mean by "sane" animal activist? Also, you have to realize what's more news-worthy: animal activists peacefully protesting, or animal activists throwing blood on people's property?

I would say I'm an "animal activist", but I'm really just a vegetarian because I'm opposed to the cruel conditions animals face in factory farms. As someone else here said, I oppose the cruelty by not using my money to support those practices.
