I agree that the sound of a perfect swish in basketball is pretty sweet.

In golf, I like the sound of the ball landing in the cup and also the thud when you hit a bunker shot the way you are supposed to.

When I'm playing ball, it's not really the sound I like when I'm hitting. It's the feel.

The sound of a packed pub during an England World Cup or European Championship game.

The swish of a basketball going through the net clean. Helmet to helmet collisions are pretty sweet too.

I used to play baseball, so, either the ping when you hit a line-drive w/ an aluminum bat or the gritty sound of cleats on cement. Who remembers the classic bats? Z-core, Connextion, the Platinums were my fav.

I'm really going to have to go with the crack of the bat though. Wood bat, ball on sweet spot, nothing tops it.

Swish, an away 3 pointer to silence the crowd, sound of a long rally in tennis, and the Michigan fight song.
