Default Re: CPU Usage at 100%

If you are running firefox, firefox is a memory whore. I have seen the memory usage climb to over 300megs of memory used. If you been using that, try closing it out and see if the CPU levels drop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Excessive memory usage should cause swapping, which drives CPU usage down. That being said, it's a good idea to close any non-essential apps.

Pin the party monster jp counters to the tables and they won't eat all your cpu.

[/ QUOTE ]

what do you mean by pinning the counters to the table?

[/ QUOTE ]

There is a stick pin image on the counter graphics for both the regular and monster jp, just like there is when you have a player note open. So you just click on it (it is a toggle) and it pins in place and instead of the 2 jp counters moving in and out in alternation, then just the one is there all the time, and ends the busy loop that eats up a lot of resources apparently.

I had this happen when using pokerace hud (full tilt + pt too), and I found disabling the only use 500 hands filter brought cpu usage back to normal. try that.
