Originally I thought it was an easy check, but I think you have to bet since you underepped your hand and he might pay off with a flush. Problem is that he can only beat air or a busted gutshot but he should look you up to see what you played so weird.

That's a tough one. Id say Check-Call. Id put the guy on a big hand... A NL player or not, he raised with 4 to the flush? No..

MitchL has it backwords. All you can beat is a bluff or a flush, which he probally doesnt have enless he flopped an Aces with Ace high flush draw, in which case, you Tie at best.

Id say a Set of 5's on the flop. Only hand he can legitimately raise with that beat's you. That or Ace's as well, which is a chop. There's alot of risk for almost certainly no reward.

For the love of god don't checkraise and call a 3-bet.

I would've checkraised the turn, but if I didn't, I bet/call the river.

Pretty sure his range his weighted more heavily towards flush draws and aces than a set of 5s. Why wouldnt he raise a flush draw here? His equity is good and he should fold out K high type hands enough of the time. Im sure we are chopping alot, but the way we played the flop and turn I am betting that river and getting looked up by a flush and raised by an ace.

I bet/call.

Our hand looks too drawy and is underrepresented, so he can pay off with any flush, and who knows, maybe K-hi. And since our hand can be a busted draw he can try to bluff us off a better draw.

Ive played with Genius28 some. Your either chopping or losing atleast 70% of the time. Im not saying fold, but whats the extra 500$ gonna do?

why is it so unreasonable for him to be raising with "4 to a flush"?
