I didn't think this episode was very good. I agree with xx44 that CYE is relying on a lot of ridiculous and over the top situations to make the show funny where as the thing I loved about the older CYE episodes is that most of the situations were believable and for the most part unpredictable.
The reason I didn't really care for this episode is because so much of the episode doesn't really make a lot of sense as normal behavior or even common sense. For example Suzy flipping out when Larry stepped on that spider and made a big scene. I can't imagine anybody making as big of a deal about is Suzy dude, even for being the psycho that she is. Another example is Hal interpreting LD's hand drying motions under a hand dryer as him communicating sign language which Hal knows LD isn't familliar with. It just doesn't make any sense. Then LD tries to apologize on the phone later in the episode and Leon has his phone on accident and Hal thinks it's Larry? I mean, I get the joke, it's just ridiculously over the top and unrealistic. Oh and when Larry explained to Suzy what happened with him and Hal in the bathroom she acts like he did it on purpose. Again, I know that this is the joke. It's just not really funny because you can't relate to somebody being completely irrational like that. The whole Seinfield / CYE plot has always focused on real life situations that happen to people and they can relate to. CYE is losing that recently IMO. Also Loretta is 30 mins late for her interview and flips out on Larry. How could she let that happen? Think about it. If you have an important meeting to get to you would not let the person driving you be late over toast, give me a break. The ending was pretty great though, the exterminator reminded me a lot of Chris Farley. I loved when he stomped on the dog, very good ending. FWIW, I will continue to watch CYE even if the current state continues because it is still a great show. I'm just not a big fan of the way the show is going and the writing just isn't as smart as it used to be in prior episodes.

Def best episode of the season. Over the top, sure. Hilarious, definitely. "Barack Obama, mother [censored], Barack Obama! I'm the president of hitting that ass!" HAHHAHAAHAHHAHAHHAHA Did people think Farley was supposed to be gay, or did you think it was just "awkard acquaintance/friend" type stuff?

I thought it was pretty good. A little slow at parts but I thought the end was absolutely hysterical and really saved the show. I can think of a lot better CYEs from previous seasons but I wouldn't go right out and proclaim that it sucked.
