What % of live players are douchebags?
I went to a casino for the first time last week. The highest cash game was 3/6 so I decided to play a 45+15 tournament with unlimited rebuys during the first hour. This older guy with white hair and a huge wad of 20s he brought out whenever he rebought (very frequently) was surprisingly loud-mouthed and obnoxious. He berated other people's play and gave condescending "nice hand, sir"s. Once he limped on the button, the small blind moved all in and he angrily said I was just being social!" All the staff obviously knew him well. He was probably the worst player at the table too.
Just wondering how common these type of people are at live poker tables.

about 60% of players in casinos i cant stand. especially the "know it alls". it's very hard to explain to them why a play was good/bad, they just dont listen. so i never talk to them. they are good at being ATMs though.

I love the ones saying they are running so bad b/c their pre flop raise with KJos got 3bet and so they just shoved in the remaining $140 and wow it was "so unlucky" because he was up against pocket kings.

It' very hard to answer your question because there are varying degrees of douchebag and different forms of douchebag.
In my estimation, there are probably between 1 in 30 to 1 in 50 I would label a bonafide douchebag. However, I can handle most rules douchebags and I don't usually get called a donk. On top of that, I'm working on my Zen aspect so really very little bothers me. However, I may try to tone down the old guy you are describing. You can't comment that you want the game social and then speak sarcastically to someone. Those two ideas are conflicting and I might stand up for other players if I'm in that sort of mood.

its no less than online players. in a sense i have more respect for live dbags b/c online people are just hiding behind their comps and taking advantage of their anonymity.

atleast 1 or 2 at every table.
During the day u get the "old fogey" douche. You know him, hes the guy who always wants to see your cards when you muck on showdown. Then he gets up and wanders around for 2 passes of the button. Right before they pick him up he comes back, posts, then wanders off again.. Then at night u get the drunk assmunch. the drunk assmunch can be very profitable if u can keep your mouth shut. after 5am they turn into the sleeping assmunch. Not profitable anymore. on weekends expect these numbers to double or triple. -hyp

Most of the time there's at least one guy I can't stand. Usually I secretly hate half the table. For every guy at the table that I like, there's 4 that I can't stand. I personally hate casinos, I'd rather play online with the chat off.
