[/ QUOTE ] i'd say we're rock. hard rock, but very melodic and certainly not heavy metal. though we do like heavy metal. and we have a couple metal riffs. the singer sounds sorta like jeff buckley mixed with modest mouse. the music sounds like radiohead + the police + iron maiden. but then we also really really love erykah badu and fiona apple...so who the [censored] knows. we all went to music school so there are some serious polyrhythms and advanced harmonic structures (not too much on this cd...but a lot more on our upcoming record). but we first and foremost love pop/rock music so the songs are still 3 1/2 minutes, vocal-centric, with verse/chorus structure.

by the sound of that music you will be having a [censored] ton of 16-21 yr old suburban pigment defecient females as your core audience. Not that thats bad or anything cause youll get made puzz. But i dont see many guys (that are not emo) supporting that music.
edit: but i its pretty gangsta for emo!
