Default NL200 - Play the range game

Today is my first foray into 200NL, and I find myself semi-deepstacked against 2+2 member BT2. I have him running 11/9/2.5 over a bajillion hands at 100NL. We have played at this table for probably 2 to 2 and a half hours, and I haven't seen him get out of line. My stack comes from a set vs TPTK doubling that was ages ago. Not going to convert the hand because of the interesting chat at the bottom...be sure to check that out. As for the feedback, looking for your calling and folding range after the action.

He said he has a flush, but with a little further inquiry he said he didn't have a royal flush draw, which is the only plausible hand I could come up with for him raising UTG. Believe the chat?

He is probably lying.

He either has a set or AK with king of hearts.

Please use a hand converter. This is hard to read.

Use a converter or give the pot size please. From what I saw it seems that his push is roughly a PSB on the turn. I call with AA/JJ (but i usually rr preflop) and any 8+ high flush. The only K-high flush he can have is KhQh if is not tilting, I don't fold a Q-high flush here. A T-high flush is only beat by exactly one hand. I guess he can do that with AxKh/any set that's why i would bluff catch with any reasonable flush and a good set.

I don't really understand the action on the flop, if you have a set and don't want to involve your stack you should have used your pos advantage and just called. With a low FD you should have pushed. I guess the only reasonable hand for you is AxKh but you should have 3b preflop.

By the way if that is your first shot at NL200 don't stay at the table while you are 200b+ and there is one regular at 150bb+.

I think you're last flop call put you in a bad spot. You now have 1/3 of your chips in the middle and less than a PSB behind and are likely facing a really tough decision. I think you need to shove or fold to his re-raise.

That little raise on the flop leads me to believe you have 77 or maybe JJ. I think you have to hate 77 here. The toad pretty much min-raised you back. That is not the hallmark of a weak hand.

Seems to me that he would have to have JJ or better. There's a chance he has AxKh. I would have thought he would have moved in on the flop if he had that, though, and not min-raised.

I do think that most of the time he doesn't have a flush.

bt2 has been more aggro at 1/2 than he was at .5/1 in my experience

Jetsetboy: I honestly felt I could play better deepstacked poker than my opponents, but I think I ended up making the wrong decision. Thanks for a clear and thought-out response.
