Default Please, tell me how to play JJ deepstacked and in early position

PS 10r.

Villian is aggressive raising just about everytime he's folded to in late position. I haven't noticed him go with the raise in early position so it might or might not be relevant.

Do I shove, do I go 3x? What do I do if repopped by someone else or by him.

I'm lost on this just about everytime so I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I think calling here is the best way.

If you find some more callers you do it for set-value, unless you find a very good flop situation.

If you are up against UTG alone you have to reevalute on the flop, but be cautious.

pushing 44BB over a 4BB raise is too much.

reraising 3x is better, but you have position, so i would just call.

i agree. no reason to bloat the pot preflop when we have position on villain. i'd shove or 3-bet 3x actually) if he wasn't raising UTG also.

Normally in this situation, with your stack i would prob flatcall (as my default play.) After looking at the stack sizes behind you, i think i make it 15K, for the following reasons:

1. If you flatcall, one of the ~15BB stacks (MP2;SB) may squeeze. UTG+1 will then shove (most of his range) to isolate and u will have a tougher decision preflop.

2. If u 3-bet to 15K, u can call (getting about 4.5 to 1) if one of the ~25BB stacks shoves and UTG+1 folds.

3. If u 3-bet to 15K, you can call if UTG+1 shoves (getting 2 to 1) with 36% equity vs. a 4-betting range of: QQ+;AKs;AKo.

i'd flat and hope one of the laggy 2p2 squeeziacs pulls some shenanigans and you can bust them

call, scope out a flop- evaluate. rring to 10k and folding is bad, pushing is bad, folding is bad, flatting makes sense.

Do I shove

[/ QUOTE ]

No, that would be terrible with your stack. (No offense)

With no reads I call.

Depends on what the big stack does after someone else shoves.
If MP2,Button, or SB go, and big stack flat calls, I flat call behind. If either of these stacks move in, and big stack fold, I call obv.

If MP3,CO, or BB go all in and big stack flat calls, I'm folding. If either of these three shove, and big stack folds, I gotta muck it too as his range is very tight and we're almost always way behind, imo. (based on no reads)

You still have 40 bb's if you fold to a shove from what is most likely QQ+. If the situation was different with some history, and you know it's someone who's capable of making plays with marginal holdings, JJ can be the nuts against their shove. But not against a random I don't think.

In any re-raise situation from another stack, if the big stack goes all in on top, I muck. Now we're talking about being all in, three-way, against two opponents who have shown considerable strength.
