Hand Reading Practice
Is there anywhere on this site, or any site for that matter, that I can go and read through hands being played so that I can try to put people on hands and then check what they were really playing? On here nobody puts the hands played because "results are evil". I understand why they don't put them there, but I'd really like to work on this aspect of my game. Thanks a lot.

Re: Hand Reading Practice
I haven't played around with it very much, but apparently at www.worldpokertour.com/academy they have archived all the hands played at the final tables, plus some, that you can watch unfold. From what I've seen though, you know the hand matchups beforehand... but I'm sure it's still worth studying.
Other than that... try "ghosting" some of the better online tournament (or cash) players. Or in your own online games... you don't necessarily see what your opponent called with until you check the hand histories. Lots of ways to practice hand reading! |

Re: Hand Reading Practice
After playing around with this wpt academy database, I've come to really like it. The software isn't set up for max efficiency trying to play through a final table (unless I'm just doing it the clunky way), but you CAN hide hole cards and see all the in between hands they don't show on television. Real neat.
