interesting turn spot 10/20
i had only been sitting in the game for 5 minutes or so, the villain in this hand was definitely not a regular. he wasnt making horrible calls preflop, but was definitely on the loose side, so heres the hand....
calls $40 *** FLOP *** [9c FullTiltPoker Game #3682568169: Table Butternut (6 max) - $10/$20 - No Limit Hold'em - 22:48:06 ET - 2007/09/26 Seat 1: Whose House ($1,990) Seat 2: thaaj2004 ($2,000) Seat 3: betterthanyou1 ($1,970) Seat 4: MalteePoo ($2,077) Seat 6: claybo ($2,010) claybo posts the small blind of $10 Whose House posts the big blind of $20 The button is in seat #4 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to betterthanyou1 [6d 7d] betterthanyou1 raises to $60 MalteePoo calls $60 claybo calls $50 Whose House 7s 3d] claybo checks Whose House checks betterthanyou1 has 15 seconds left to act betterthanyou1 bets $180 MalteePoo calls $180 Whose House adds $70 claybo folds Whose House folds *** TURN *** [9c 7s 3d] [8d] (im first to act, just me and villain still left in the hand) my initial reaction was just to make a pretty strong bet given i had and open-ender and a flush draw, but i also felt that 8 could have really helped his hand and i pretty much knew i was behind and wasnt sure i could get him to fold anything (not just because he wasnt a great player)... anyways, im not gonna say much else, b/c? c/r? c/c? and why thanks i kind of want thoughts on the hand if we assume the villain is a good/competant player... though i really dont think it changes the given situation |
