Default Omaha High 1-2 table, Trips

Just got to the Casino, started playing Hold'em tables then moved to Omaha games. Game is pretty soft and since people are just started, we are not that deep. Some players are noticable (sp?) however, the hand I've played with an unknown.

Stack Size: 200$-- OOP dealt J J 10 8, would most of time raise here but figured anybody holds an A, K, even Q calling me here so decided to limp. BB checks.

Flop : 8 8 9 two clubs, beatiful, loved it yet checked figured somebody will take a stab and button bet it. fold fold, came to, after a lil while I announced a re-raise, leaves me about 140. He calls.

Turn is 9s, didnt like it and PROBABLY made a big mistake, check, he checks. Little confused.

River is Ad, i value bet here about 1/4 of the pot. He instanly asks me how much I've left, after told him the amount he announces AI. Any ideas? or any street would've played differently? Thank you.

Because you reraised on the flop, you should probably push any turn except k or a, even then a decent bet would be useful. Something on order of 1/3 the pot. You should fold his push 90%+, I am guessing but that seems like a pretty clear sign from villian that he has nuts.

Assuming you arent vs 98xx or 99xx, you have either 10 or 14 outs max. Depending on whether Villian has Q.

i dont really like the check raise on the flop. You save yourself a bet when your behind and don't get many worse hands to come along with the pair on the board. On the turn Its pretty clear your beat. Just fold river. im no expert though.

Well, I figured if he hit his 9 on the turn, he def would've bet there since flush there even though board is paired. I didnt put him on 8 9 either because he would've checked there. Since those were my thoughts I've put him on 8X, Big pair, busted flush draw the last option. Therefore I called, he looks at me and gives that smile says I'm sorry shows AA xx. Sweeeeeeeet! bb turns and tells me I folded an A, theres his 1 outer. Any mistakes on my thinking process?

AAxx or A8xx make sense as instant river pushes. I have seen online slow playing AAxx preflop, because with many people in the hand you are doomed if you dont hit your Ace. If you put opponent on Big Pair or 8X because he doesnt push the flop, dont you shove this turn because this is moment with best fold equity against competitive hands, and sucker Big Pairs into calling with a thin draw.

You dont think that he would be still calling me on turn if I pushed? since He called my re-raise on the flop. He def. put me on 9. otherwise dont see hows he calling my raise with AA.
