Re: i give up with JJ
I definately fire a second barrell on turn, only J9 got there and there are definately a lot of T's out there that are looking you up on that flop - especially - since you are perceived as real aggressive (and probably bluffing a lot).
Fire second barrell if you feel you are facing a T or if you want to slow down c/c to river. By checking the turn you are looking like a whiffed AK, any ten is gonna try and take control, you DEFINATELY have to call turn if you check here imo. |

no one likes a crai here on turn? I think folding is out of the question on the turn

Re: i give up with JJ
the aggression has to be an anomaly, i dont think his true aggression can be this high. I think we need to consider that a huge portion of a 22-14s coldcalling range is pairs and suited connectors. this board has a ton of sets on it, as well as many straights and two pair hands. i think im good here against this player almost never and with players left to act behind him on the flop hes almost never floating.

Once called you can check/fold river if he fires a decent sized bet again but dont give up yet. |

no one likes a crai here on turn? I think folding is out of the question on the turn [/ QUOTE ] Gone are the Party days where Hero would routinely get paid off by any T, sometimes mid pair. If you c/r he only calls with hands that have you beat. A raise is terrible. A second barrel isn't that good because you obviously need a hand to c-bet a 4 way flop and double barrel, and villain knows this, thus he most likely ditches worse hands. I keep switching between calling and folding so I think there are merits to both. |
