Bathroom attendants: tip or not?

Me and the search function are tighter than my friends when the check comes, but I couldn't find a topic on this so here goes.

So tonight I'm at a trendy bar watching the Suns get totally poaned by the Clippers, who shot an impressive 113% from the floor, surely some sort of record as they made every shot they took and several others they merely thought about, and I had to go potty.

I used to be a playa pimp, rolling with the G's was my style. Never needed to pop a cap in anyone's ass, which has turned out to be best for everyone. Anyway, in the course of one of my later pees I see an attendant setting up shop. This puts me in an awkward situation: I value hand-washing after a whiz. This has as much to do with all the sht I touched since my last wash than the whole touching of my dong/sniffing my finger stuff.

However, tipping a guy just to hand me a paper towel, ostensibly making this more complicated than it needed to be, is annoying. Awkwardness ensues.

So I ask the question: tip or no tip?

I really really dislike bathroom attendants. I find it very weird for some guy to help me with the processes of washing my hands. I tip sometimes just because I feel bad for the guy. Its also an akward tip. Sometimes I just pass on the washing of the hands, cuz the whole thing kinda creeps me out.

Sometimes tip, but always wash my hands. Just b/c some dude is there does not stop me from washing my hands. I believe most still get paid by the restaraunt, so it is not like they are making money and not like they are really doing anything anyhow. Handing me a towel is not worth even a dollar.

This wouldn't be a terrible idea if Alobar wasn't clearly one of the better posters in 2+2 history, aside from his inclination to flood my backyard with his pool waste.

The correct answer is, he gives me his password and THEN kills himself. That way I can underservedly inherit his legacy. Win-win.

Yup. Same with people who carry my luggage, open the taxi door for me, fill my tank up with gasoline. I don't want to be waited on like that.

they are a serious pet peeve of mine. i feel obligated to wash hands when they are present otherwise handwashing is a very rare activity limited to the messiest of loads.
