Default 100NL Set line check-up...

2nd orbit, no reads.

Do you play the flop differently?

What is your turn line? 83 behind in a 61.50 pot on a drawy board OOP.

Please consider:

1.) Giving a free card is disasterous.
2.) CRAI will get called by a looser range than a shove.

Obviously on a dry board this becomes an easy crai.

I just make a normal vb on the turn and push any river.

I bet this aswell. Probably 50+call a push but shoving sometimes is fine too

I really think betting 40-50 looks very fishy here with 80 behind. Which is why I really didn't consider it while plaything the hand. However I agree that this is another way to play it.

I like this better than the shove value wise.

The consensus is to bet 40-50ish on the turn. Am I the only one that thinks vb for more than 1/2 our remaining chips is very suspicious, and narrows our hand range significantly?

I think that a shove is a to strong move. Villain will not call this w/ a draw, probably only w/ some kind of king. A 45ish bet is better to make him pay with any draw

I think either is really fine. Like you said, betting more than half of your stack and be very suspicious but a push a lot of times will scare people off. I'd play it both ways.
