Dear Affiliate Partner,

As we have previously advised, on September 30th 2006 the U.S. Congress passed the SAFE Port Act which also contained certain provisions known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (the Act that affects the processing of payments between US customers and certain online gaming companies). The legislation was signed into law by President George W Bush on October 13th 2006.

We regret that the U.S. has taken this step to make it virtually impossible to offer real money entertainment to U.S. customers. It is doubtful that the U.S. authorities will achieve their stated goals by introducing such legislation. We believe that a properly monitored forward-looking regulation would be much more effective than this general ban.

We would like to update you on the steps we are taking for all real money U.S. players.

As a result of this new law, we no longer accept real money deposits from any NEW U.S.players.

Depositing Restrictions

As officially stated before we have been working on a technical solution to restrict all customers within the U.S. from depositing new funds at any of the PokerAffiliate.com brands. This solution will be implemented on Wednesday, October 25th.

Real Money Restrictions

We will have implemented the technical solution to restrict all customers within the U.S. from accessing our real money games starting Monday, November 6th. After that time players will still be able to login to the site, participate in play money games and withdraw funds from their account.

Hey this is pokerroom so anything could happen. My bet is that the network will shutdown for all non US traffic only.

Maybe you will just have to check a box saying you are not from the US when you deposit. That way the site won't have any responsiblity for your actions. Like you said, it is Pokeroom after all....... It would be nice if this was true though.

ACR and skins will be leaving Ongame soon for an American friendly platform. Until the it's business as usual at Ongame. Deposits, bonuses, etc.

I played on FCP tonight and from what I understand they won't be switching networks until Nov. 6th. As of right now I can still play on OnGame through FCP and I'm assuming I will be able to until Nov. 6th.
