I feel like making a sick river call here.
Reads: villain is on the loose/passive side preflop, at 42/11. I haven't seen him get too out of line postflop.
Hero is LAG, taking down most of his pots without a showdown. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) SB ($100.50) BB ($99.80) Hero ($144.75) MP ($69.40) CO ($139.85) Button ($117.85) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $3.5, 4 folds, BB calls $2.50. I don't think he has a flush, as most players make a big river bet after their turn check/raise failed to go through. It's not impossible for him to hold a flush, I just think it's unlikely. He could have trips aces certainly. I don't think he has a jack here hardly ever. He could also have a wide variety of busted straight draws, given his tendency to call loosely pre-flop. Most players who call loosely pre-flop will call again if they flop some sort of straight draw. I can beat the following hands: KQ, KT, QT, Q8, T8, T7, 87. That's basically all I can beat, but I thought enough of his range constituted these busted draws for me to call. Final Pot: $38.50 |
