Default Dumb Club Situation

Situation:

last night strassa and i are out at some club. strassa leaves with some chick who proceeds to throw up all over his bed. our party filters out and i am left alone with an undrank bottle at closing. i dont give a [censored] about sneaking this thing out so i just leave it there.

strassa's mind is completely blown by the fact that i would leave a 95% full bottle behind. is he crazy or am i?

Why would you order a new bottle so close to closing time knowing that you can't drink it? Or was it just you started the night with x bottles and this was just left over.

we had enough people and time to drink it when i ordered it but our party got thinned out due to various circumstances.

if I was drunk I would smuggle it out, but when sober it seems like a dumb idea

A chick threw up in his bed, and he's worried about a bottle of beer?

Sweet.

Something tells me it wasn't beer. Pretty sure Strassa's not disagreeing with The Ocho about $1.43 of alcohol.

Ocho--

Meh, I'm with you on this one. Unless there's some sort of resale value I'm not seeing, the whole bottle-preservation-and-sneaking process seems like more trouble than it's worth. Seems to be a pretty clear sunk-cost situation.

I thought that you once you bought the bottle, you owned the bottle, and you don't have to "smuggle" it out, just cap it and take it out. Maybe that's just at restaurants with wine bottles, though.

My former stepfather was known to do this.
