his calling range is not that important because we don't have the best hand so rarely that any reasonable bluff catching hand that calls once in a blue moon represents a net win for us.

I really disagree I think he has a better hand a lot more often than you think.

he has QJ and calls with it *by itself* (edit: okay, throw in clubs with a jack in there too) more often than any of the random ass 2 pair he managed to back into and then cleverly check.

Adanthar,
I think we have the best hand a lot. However all I am saying is you are underestimating the number of times we are beat here. FWIW the river was the Jc and I checeked... if the river was the Jd I was going to shove.
