oh yeah, Mike Hart for most overrated player--just look at the lack of production drop off with him out

Have things changed a bit?

1)Tebow
2)Dixon
.....
3)Everyone else

That said, I think DD is going to win because he isn't a sophmore & he has the better games left. If the Gators slip in to the SECCG, then Tebow will have a better shot.

-Mock vote by Heisman voters:
"One voter who submitted a ballot with Tebow at the top said he expected to move him down because he didn't think the award should go to an underclassmen ahead of a senior who won't have another shot."

Unreal, award is obviously rigged regardless.

QBs job is to win games....Tebow falls short of Dixon there

So Colt Brennan for the Heisman...

I usually like your opinions/posts MT2R, but this was really dumb and unneccessary

Also, MT2R, you rank McFadden so high, does not have to shoulder as much weight as the rest of the guys just because he's not a QB?

Yeah, I agree with this. Tebow really hasn't gotten it done on the defensive end. I mean 42 points to Georgia? WTF was that!?

I am always hearing how Tebow "looks like a linebacker". If he really wanted his team to win he'd obviously play both ways, that pansy. Plus I hear he's like a sophomore or something.

nobody's down on tebow... but if you take away huge winning team from the equation, why not andre woodson from kentucky?

i think tebow should be one of 6-8 guys in the mix, but couldn't figure out how he stayed at #1 in many heisman polls as florida kept losing.

or, he could've done something the first half v Auburn

Tebow is good...he deserves mention
but Dixon has about the same stat-lines and is leading a team toward the national title

if we don't care about wins-losses,
McFadden > Tebow

so, I have Tebow at 3rd at best

I actually like Chase Daniels more, but the people in the SouthEast don't watch games around the rest of the country so they don't know who he is

Daniels is leading less talent to great production and a great record

Tebow's worst performance in a loss (vs. Aub):
20-27 for 201 yards, 1 TD, 19 carries for 75 yards, 1 rush TD

McFadden's worst performance in a loss (vs. Aub):
17 carries for 43 yards, 1 catch for 5 yards, 0 TDs

So in Tebow's "bad game", he actually got more yards just on the ground than McFadden did total in his and threw the ball pretty well too. I can see saying that Dixon's more valuable since they'd lose more if he wasn't there, but Tebow hasn't played bad in Florida's losses at all this year.

I don't want to overstate my case here, as I actually have Dixon a tiny sliver ahead of Tebow right now mainly due to the wins, but Tebow's carried Florida this year. By himself, he's accomplished way more than McFadden and ignoring record altogether is probably the best player in the country this year.

Just look at this:
Darren McFadden 244 carries for 1431 yards, 5.9 YPC
Felix Jones 114 carries for 1032 yards, 9.2 YPC

McFadden's a great pro prospect and he may be the most talented back in the country, but he hasn't shown me anything this year that screams Heisman. I doubt that Arkansas would have even one less win if Felix Jones was the feature back and you plugged someone average like Maurice Wells into the #2 RB spot.
