Re: The flop I am looking for is....
since the edit...
I think I'd rather flop #2. betting: small, small, big to earn folds or even big on the turn. |

Re: The flop I am looking for is....
j-
We wouldn't really be bluffing, but it just seems like it'd be pretty hard to win a big pot since there aren't many worse queens that our opponents (granted they're bad) can call down with, so we have to hope that our opponents call 3 streets with 88-TT if we want a huge pot. We can semi-bluff with QJ on the flop, and I would count our Qs and Js as half outs since they'll call flop with a 10 probably. If we don't hit the turn we can check and they will most likely check behind, or we can bet again and put them in a bad spot with a 10.. If we hit the turn I'd bet because they will not fold a king and might not fold a 10. The second board, I just think if they call the flop and turn, they're really not gonna call the river with a pocket pair. |

Re: The flop I am looking for is....
2 because TPGK > Q high?
when you say prefer do you mean that one we're going to have the easiest decisions on? i don't think i get your question. I mean if that was the case 222 or 678 monotone would be a great flop because our decision is really easy. |

Re: The flop I am looking for is....
US- 222 and 678 monotone are not options though. And I'm not sure either flop offers anything simple. And the question is, "Which flop do you prefer, and why?"

Re: The flop I am looking for is....
I just think it's easier to win a bigger pot with a disguised hand like a straight (if we hit it granted) against the other option where our hand is pretty clearly TP.

Re: The flop I am looking for is....
thac- And why may I ask if the flop comes KT5r is our hand not 'clearly TP' AND why cant we have SD on the Q75r flop with something like 86s?

Re: The flop I am looking for is....
I'm confused? 6 handed 3/5 game doesn't necessarily imply live?
I don't get called by anything that QT ever beats in hand 2. People rarely play Q9 and essentially never play less than Q8. If you bet you're essentially bluffing, since you never get called by worse and the times you do you can just fire a 2nd barrel and get them to fold whatever it is they called with. edit: i also wasn't aware ppl call 3 streets with mid pockets there in live games v ur QT |
