Re: KK in the BB w/ a couple of limpers in front
ive never played this guy, but what about betting 200 and instacalling a push from 68s/54s/58s/97 type hands.
Also, i assume the CO is a big donkey bc hes 50BB deep and open limped. Shouldnt the big aggro button be iso-raising him with hands like 89/78 and the likes? If he views you as very aggro and hes aggro bad, i'd like to make him shove over my obvious two barrel. |

Re: KK in the BB w/ a couple of limpers in front
im having trouble putting sentences together today.
So in case what i just said didn't make any sense: Basically, i think hes way more likely to iso-raise with 89/connecting type hands than with 97/86/58s (which he is limping along) whether its right or wrong. Does that still sound retarded? Idk, the more i type this out, the more wrong i feel. BC if hes limping the hands i said, hes probably also limping smaller connectors like 56 67. Whatever. Poker is hard. Thats why i bet/call and blame variance when he has the nutssss/sucks out. |

Re: KK in the BB w/ a couple of limpers in front
Yeah, well at the time - b/c he has a PFR% of 20 or so, I figured he would've raised w/ 55/77/66, so I wasn't particularly scared of a set. Although 2-pair is possible too. I think he's bad enough to even have a J in this spot.
I probably should've bet-called. I probably took the worst line. I checked, he bet $175, and I raised to $500 - he shoved quite quickly and I called the rest off. 9h8h him - gg. |
