I fold there and don't think twice about it. 3-bets in that game rarely seem to be re-isolation moves, especially by regulars. If Mike is who I'm thinking of (big older guy, balding, wears glasses) I would assume his raise is based more on hand value than for an iso. Now that I said that, I'm sure he's the one who turned up w/ QT.

Save two and a half big bets, imo.

I'm going to say neh. You have AQ against two bad players and some regular who knows they are bad. Call and see a flop.

4 bet is horrible. Again (Sklansky), AQ only raises when you can limit the pot to a very few players. Caro- AQ calls in the SB in multi-way pots.

emerson, i think horrible is a bit of an overstatement, but i will agree that it is certainly not optimal - however, when i am in the situation i rarely can control myself from shoveling the 4-bet in... (as a note, i have been in the process of reviewing my ranges - i seem to gradually get laggier and laggier the more frequently i play)

I did fold after a little bit of thought. I was up against Q9, Q10, and 1010 in that order.

[/ QUOTE ] You hit the lower part of the asian ladies range here, the best possible hands the other two could of held and the best kind of flop for your hand. You were out OOP with a reverse implied odds hand and the only justification for a call/playing here would be a bad beat jackpot. PJ is right on. This is results oriented thinking not considering the parlay.
