lastchance: claim what? If you just let every player vote for who gets n0 protection, then everyone can honestly claim to vote, and the votes will add up the way they should, so no information is leaked *except* that the person who died was not a wolf.

Which is the whole point.

[/ QUOTE ]Personally I don't see a significant difference between dying n0 and dying d1, or dying n1 even.

If it can improve the game it should be done.

Honestly, if I sign up for a game and I don't get at least a day to post in said game, I'm not going to like it very much.

I mean, on a scale of 0-10 on the "pissed off" scale it's like a 0.0047 ... but I think there are better ways to tweak a game, ways that allow every player at least a day to play.

I just played a game on another site with a n0 kill. It was a 10 player game... 9 after the kill. The wolves hit the seer.

Absolutely, the worst game I've ever played in. That was probably helped by the fact that one of the wolves had a single post, and it was the last vote in must lynch. Still, the villagers didn't give a [censored], because they knew they'd lose, and the wolves didn't have to try.

I say no. But if you are going to do it, I like OH's idea, only stronger.

Give each villager the ability to each protect one other person. Anyone who tries to angle shoot gets modkilled.

SUPER-INGENIOUS COMPROMISE IDEA:


n0 "maul" attack
wolves maul someone at the beginning of the game.

someone will be reported to be dead in three nights (village sees it as: "X was mauled severely during night 0. He only has 3 more nights to live. He dies during n3 (after d3, before d4) )
