Default 2 pair facing bet/3bet line vs donk. WTF??

Villain is a donk. He's 40/4/.5 but he has been much more aggro on the turn and river than his TAF stat indicates. He is on my left and has been firing a ton on turns and river forcing me to lay marginal hands down. Making really weird bet sizes, sometimes very small and sometimes huge overbets.

Looking for comments/advice on my river raise and what to do now. I raised to get value out of a smaller A or smaller 2 pair when he blocks the river. He instashoves AI on me.

given how passive his stats is i dont see how you can call the river 3bet. I probably just call the river bet.

i said his postflop AF stats aren't that passive.

turn af: 2
river af: 9

only 100 hands tho but his PF AF and flop AF brought his TAF way down.

I'd raise more on river I think to like $200, and I'd fold to that 3bet.

You could also make a case for calling the river, especially if you aren't sure how to respond if he shoves over a raise. If I raised it would be to fold to a shove, or call if I thought he was really aggro (but still, he can't really be bluffing here can he?). I like the river raise though, but fold now.

Well he bet 20% of the pot, so I think that we can raise due to his blocking bet and expect to get called a lot by worse. If he bet much bigger I agree it would lean towards a definite call. But I don't agree if you're saying this guy is more likely to have a flush than say a worse two pair or something.

while i kind of agree w/ this...i mean it is the reason why i raised the river. villain seemed to be bluffing a ton on the turn and river. he either was getting hit in the face w/ the deck or was bluffing alot. i had no idea how capable he was of 3 bet bluffing the river until this hand and given his propensity to bluff i probably shouldn't have raised it.

BTW...he had KK
