Default bridge?

i'm trying to learn bridge. what bidding systems do you guys typically use? so i don't completely confuse myself trying to learn multiple bidding systems while learning

Most of us use simple SAYC

12+ pts 5 card major suits...standard stuff.

Search the Internet for the Standard American Yellow Card. You don't have to know all the details though, not all at once...

basically, i understand the play of cards. its just the bidding/interpreting the bidding/etc that i don't understand. oh, and how score is kept, lol
