Default Do you fold the turn after a few mistakes....

This is an extract from the Beginner's Forum. I thought I would let the MTT guys weigh in on this.

It is the first hand of a live 60.00 buy in NLHE MTT with 218 players so no reads.

800 chips blinds 5/10

Hero has AQoff.

fold, fold, limp, limp, Hero limps, fold, Button limps, SB completes, BB checks. Pot is 60

Flop: 7d Qs Jd

Check, check, Hero bets 50, Button calls, blinds fold, others fold, heads up. Pot is 160.

Turn: 6c

Hero bets 200, Button re-raises all-in. Hero??

Pot is 1100 and it's 540 to call (which is exactly all your chips obviously).

Low limit online I call it every time and expect to see a lot of stupid hands I beat that were "slow playing" TPWK.

Live though, with passive fish, it may be an entirely different thing?

I am raising this preflop every time and I'm going to find anyway to jam this on the flop or turn or whereever. Preferably as soon as possible.

I'm inclined to think you're beaten.

Though you're getting good odds for a call, I fold here and keep my 540 in chips.

I am probably bumping this preflop. As played I think I am calling, I mean we are we ahead of KQ,QT,9T, and only behind to something like a set of sevens or QJ. I think 9T is the most likley probability and would probably call.

Obviously must raise pre.As is,in a live tourney,my gut says you are beat.KQ the only hand you can beat, maybe 9T.I don't think QT raises here, and considering that live is usually pretty tight.....I just think that you could be drawing dead here more often than you are ahead.

Since this is an unraised pot, villain is probably not giving Hero credit for TPTK here. So....

Nobody thinks villain does this with an OESD (perhaps with a K overcard), flush draw or flush draw with a low pair, top pair with a flush draw or a combo of those?

Ad6d, Axd, Kxd, Qxd, KT, T9, 54, 5d4d, Td8d, 6d5d, 8d5d ... etc
