I left partly because those two kids to my left were just too annoying to play with. Although thehy were spewing money.

[/ QUOTE ]

The guy on your direct left talks a good game and I think is trying to be a working pro. He has some knowledge and sometimes plays good but I've got a long history against him. Remember the hand that I called along w/ 99 against the raiser on your right, the one I figured was 50/50 to have AK? When I mentioned that was the reason I was calling you sort of waived at that guy who was in the hand also as if to say 'but what about him?' Well, I 'knew' he had Ace high only. Worse, when the bettor was too dumb to bet his Queens on the river I thought I was the winner.

The guy 2 seats to your left I rarely play against (I see him more in the 5-150) and I REALLY didn't like the way he runs his mouth. If he wasn't blasting thru his chips I might've said something. Later on in the night I checked behind him w/ a FH which induced him to bet the river and he paid me off. Then he starts to complain to his buddy about my play. He went busto eventually, if that's any consolation.

The one directly to my left played every hand. He was decent after the flop though. That other kid had about 10K in his wallet.

Directly to your left has a very big ego problem. Steams, too. The other guy I just don't like and that's very, very rare for me to say. VERY rare.

Edit to add:

Taking mom to dinner/movie. Back in a few.

This is interesting that you were confused when he called. I wanted to post a hand against Howard yesterday where he just called when I was expecting a raise or fold. I couldn't remember enough details because it was a few weeks ago so I didn't post it.

I believe that he would fold AK or the like to your donk 99% of the time. I may have my read wrong but I'm checking the turn if I don't make my straight. I can't see him not raising an overpair here though either.

I'm confused again.... thanks Howard.

He would be playing way too straightforwards, and therefore wrongly if he only raised/folded. I peel oh so much.

Well I know that. It was one of those situations where a raise or fold is just what you expect. The call on the turn was what really had me going. I'll tell you about the hand in person, if I ever introduce myself.

I think Howard had me scared because the night before I wasn't running so hot and he 3 bet my PFR 158 times in a row. Now he calls, WTF?

I really shouldn't be smug considering the embarassment you've saved me. Anyway, I don't think it's my place to reveal what happened but I'll just say that I pretty much knew what sort of hand OP had (pair + draw, flush draw w/ overs. Some 'medium' piece of the flop at any rate and not anything huge). I also know that he's expecting a raise so I didn't accomodate him. Yet.
