100NL overpairs
Ok so I have two hands in which I have slight overpairs (just above top pair). What should I do here? What would be my equity against those villains' range? I'm lost

Re: 100NL overpairs
First hand looks good, he only has 60 bb's so I'm definitely getting it in here.
2nd hand I would consider folding because of his stats, although they are over a small sample. You could call and see a turn but I don't really hate a fold. |

Re: 100NL overpairs
Hand one against those stats you're definitely getting it in on the flop especially with 60BB. However you should push rather than rereraise, making it 47 looks a lot stronger so you'll sometimes lose hands like 88 that would call the push.
This guy is tight and raised UTG, when he raises your flop bet his range is weighted more towards KK AA AKd than it is AJ (because people this tight are most likely not raising utg with aj and then calling a raise) so fold. I see now this is based on not many hands making it more of a toss up but I'd still kick it. |

Re: 100NL overpairs
As stated, hand 1 looks good.
Hand 2 looks marginal for stacking off, and it would be nice to have a better read before doing so. A fold looks solid...although I always find it tough to do in these spots at the table. |

Re: 100NL overpairs
Hand 1 is good
Hand 2 you aren't good here very often imo. His UTG range/call combined with the flop raise rinks of JJ/KK/AA. The only thing I see UTG doing this with that you beat right now is AKdd |
