Default anybody mind this shove for value?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

1 fold, Hero raises to $16, CO calls $16, 1 fold, SB raises to $64, 1 fold, Hero calls $48, CO folds.

Flop: ($148) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: ($348) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $246.3 (All-In), SB calls $246.30.

villian has taggy stats, small sample size, no history... I think his hand is relatively face up as it looks like an A that he thinks isn't getting called by worse if he shoves.... I don't think there's any way he checks a higher set on the flop, and I don't really think he plays KK this way either, thoughts?

I dunno if he is calling with worse. I wouldn't. You probably have the best hand but I would rather check back turn.

I think this is the best line. If he pushes a blank river I can't fold, and this line looks pretty bluffy.

i'd check turn and shove the river, if he never has a higher set.

I mean I don't know for a fact that he never has a higher set, but I can't see anyone in their right mind checking a set on this particular flop, and I can't see KK being played like this

I think KK could play like this. Maybe even JJ could play this. AK also.

This is a weird spot, I think I'd check behind and push river if he checked, and probably fold if he pushes (what did he call on the flop, that we beat, that he is now turning into a bluff? I don't think he's merging his range with a two pair type hand if we check river and he pushes.)

Well, jeeze, with that read you can never be dominated!

This isn't a spot where i'm trying to go for value unless I'm in hyper mode. I don't know how you were playing, but I think you'll generally only get called if you're beat. Why not just try to get for half pot on the river?

I check behind turn and possibly check the river behind as well. I don't think anything you beat can make a call.
