UTG: $1399.55
CO: $794
Hero: $838.40
SB: $302.30
BB: $423.30

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises to $16</font>, Hero calls, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($52, 3 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">CO bets $40</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $172</font>, SB folds, <font color="#cc0000">CO raises all-in $778</font>, Hero calls.


anybody do anything differently here? villian is 21/17, very solid, we don't have any real history besides a few 3 bets preflop, haven't gotten in any big hands though

how bad is calling flop here with solid player like this, and it being 3handed? and deep too.

As a 21/17 it seems unlikely that he would be raising 55 or 67 in the CO yes? I can see him doing this with AcK/Qc, maybe got stubborn with an overpair. You aren't a big dog against any hand but 55 so I stick it.

Btw first strategy post in more than a year so take it easy on me.

if hes solid, would he really get crazy with hands like these? hero has shown extreme strength in a 3handed pot deep. Hard to see hero doing this with overpair, i guess the only thing villain can hope is some kind of semibluff?

17% PFR allows for raises on any suited connector and any ace suited? I didn't think that would be the case; that would be more like 25% to me...
