His last name doesn't really bode well to standing alone. So I think when people don't want to use his full name (which can be a little off in certain contexts), rather than refer to him as just "Paul" the way you might refer to RG as "Giuliani," some people I guess go with "Dr. Paul." I don't really see the big deal haha.

Cost 100k. Will run either Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Wow.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not thrilled with that ad.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmm, yeah, I think it could've been better but man, the guy who paid for it seriously rocks.

[/ QUOTE ] I think changing all the "you"s to "we" and "your"s to "our" would help a great deal. I cringed every time I read "now you have..." "your children...".

I am not savvy enough to make a RP video, but I have some quotes that would serve well into what RP believes.

All of these happen to be Jefferson.

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."

"I think myself that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labour of the industrious."

I cant imagine what he would think of the size of government nowadays.

"If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny."

"Our legislators are not sufficiently apprised of the rightful limits of their power; that their true office is to declare and enforce only our natural rights and duties, and to take none of them from us."

I laughed at the one below.
"The advertisement is the most truthful part of a newspaper."

And last but not least...

"Every generation needs a new revolution."

Again these are all Jefferson's quotes. If someone has the ability to make a good video some of these quotes could and should be used.

Which party d'you think he takes the most votes from if he does go 3rd party? The fact that the frontrunning dems are all war-mongers complicates things...

[ QUOTE ]
Since we cannot predict the future because we cannot know the
subjective decisions of millions of consumers and producers, we cannot
know exactly when this will come about. Yet we can be certain,
from history, that the politicians will continue to destroy our money,
and that they will put off for as long as possible the consequences that
must follow.

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe this was written in 1984. 3 guesses as to who wrote it. Bonus points if you can name the book it came from.

Hint: It wasn't Chomsky

That's pretty good. Standard, but pretty well said top to bottom. I love the term "Chicken Hawk."

Liberty is so good. Things can only get so insane before the truth becomes easier and easier to defend. Bush may go down as (accidentally) the best thing that ever happened. Let's start a revolution.

Ya'll hear that 5,000 people showed up at the Philly rally?

I don't buy it. I was there, and I was doubtful if it was even 1,000. I remember hearing that once they claimed they had 4,000 people, and then CNN or something reported it was more like 1,000. I don't know.

Yeah, that is easily a few thousand. 1,000 would be a block 30 people on a side. 4000 seems entirely reasonable given that crowd.
