Default Sharkscope

Hi people,

Just a quick question regarding Sharkscope. Do you use it? Is it accurate? i know if you want to use it in depth you need to pay a little for it, so would that be worth it?

Ive tried tracking myself (i play on william hill) and it seems to reset itself over time.

Thanks.

I use sharkscope quite a bit. The free version is useful to track your own progress, and really not much else considering you only get 5 searches a day.

There is an option for I think its 200 searches for 8 bucks and that is a very well spent 8 bucks. you can search for tables with the fishiest players on them and get in that SnG. On the sharkscope website there is a tutorial section. I suggest watching the few 10 or so minute videos they have. very helpful.

I don't know what to say about your own stats reseting that shouldn't happen. try contacting sharkscope about that.

Thanks for the input!

The only other thing i was wondering was how they sourced their data?

I thought they may pay for it i guess but i doubt that as theyve got such a large amount of sites to choose players from.

I have played huge numbers of SNG's across a number of sites and I keep meticulous records myself of every game and calculate a running ROI and totals via my own excel spreadsheet.

Sharkscope is pretty accurate IMO. A few anomolies but very minor. That's why when players say their losing stats are not correct I tend to laugh.

I don't know about William Hill but on the major sites Sharkscope is pretty accurate.

Also on that, i play william hill because its a respected company in the UK (i live here)but also the graphics are very slick, much more so than on all the other sites ive played (betfair also looks nice)

Im not too sure if this really is a good enough reason to play my monies there, does anyone have a recommended list of sites in order of which they use?

Or does anyone know a good enough reason why i should play elsewhere?

-C
