If you have one can you tell me about it and what you like/hate? Thinking about buying a core.

2. are you survivorman? why do you need a watch with a barometer and an altimeter and all that crap?

I bought one before I went to Iraq because I could use it as a compass in an emergency. I don't wear it now.

Joined a wilderness med. group, plan on doing a lot of hiking/biking/outdoorsy stuff, have been looking for a rugged outdoor watch for a while....

I've got the X3 model which has basically the same features as the Core plus a heart rate monitor. I use it while working out and climbing in the Sierras. They make good watches and you should be happy with it if you choose to get it.
