Default Best type of micro game?

Does anyone have an opinion on the best type of game for building a bankroll in the micro limits? I.e. MTT, STT, 6-max ring, 9-max ring? I've been playing 6-max ring and doing pretty well. Just wondering. I'd study HoH 2 if I decided to play a lot of tournaments.

It depends on your style of play. I play 10-max and just wait till i have a good hand and play it. If your have a more agressive style 6 ring woud suit a player better.

good point, I know some players are better at certain games than others.
but let's say hypothetically that you play optimally in whatever type of game you play.
I forgot to specify that I play no limit. Guess I should have said the micro noLimits.

Tournaments naturally have much more varience. You could be better than 85% of every field you are in and still never money. If you want a steady build-bankroll, then cash-games make sense. 6-max has higher variance than full-ring, but both are more similar to one another than tournaments and STTs.

If you are a winning player though I think eventually you will win no matter what game you play.

My secret in winning micro cash games: POT LIMIT. For some reason, they seem to be much more populated with fish.

And I have no idea how to adjust my NL game to PL.

Play FR NL. Don't worry about trapping, just value bet when you have a hand, forget that bluffing even exists, don't call an all-in without the stone cold nuts, and never, ever, play a drawing hand from out of position.

And you will make money.

Man, there are different kind of sports, different games:

full ring
6-max
STT
MITT

And also limit poker.

Those are different games. To ask, which is better is like to ask what game is better to play: chess or basketball. Of course the answer is: the one you like the most and play the best.

I know stories, where people playing great full-ring go into "popular" advice 'play 6-max, it has more potental" and go BUSTO in that potential. And there are a lot of limit players - the game which has the least potential - who earn a lot-lot money.

6 max allows you to play more hands. For people who doesn't want to sit and wait, it may be more profitable. At full ring, you really have to wait and wait until you get strong hands, since there's ALLWAYS someone calling. So: full ring may be more boring, but it does help you get diciplin over yourself. Also, full rings may bring you more money when you have the nuts, since there's more people in every hand (usually), and the chances somebody calls are bigger.

But why don't you just try both and then choose whatever you like most?
