I agree with LSgambler and SnareSound.

I was hoping to get some more harsh replies than I did. IMO a a call here is terrible.

Given the lateness of the raiser I kinda think a push is best, but anyway fold is obviously fine too.

The reason I posed this question is the player in question was Sklansky, and he called.

He was at my table in a 5k event recently for a few hours and he was frankly pretty bad. There are a few more hands I could post but I thought this one was nice and easy to set up.

Heh heh, you certainly livened up your thread with this information.

As one of many DS disciples, I believe that the great man can do no wrong ! However, is this perhaps an insight as to why some telvision poker commentators have described DS as a "limit" (as opposed to NL) expert ?

More seriously, I think that it would be interesting if DS were able to respond to your post. Would a mod perhaps be able to bring it to his attention ?

FWIW, I also still consider folding to be the optimal play.

By the way, I would also be interested to know what event you were both playing in ?

The problem is reverse implied odds after the flop.

I can let it go if it is particularly ugly post flop ... but if I hit and someone bites I can close to triple up for 1200 chips

You can't make statements like that in a mathematical vacuum.

Heck, why not play 27o for 50% of your stack because you might flop quads and get paid off by AA?

Sure I can.

And I wouldn't do that second thing with the potential quads ... makes no sense

I hate a call here more than any other choice... except a minrasie.
