Looking back at it, I guess 1999 wasn't really a full season. But, in 100 games, his line was .262/.389/.617.

dan uggla is the winner for me. there is really nothing surprising about the numbers for thomas or bonds, except maybe that they played so many games.

Nobody has mentioned the fact that FREDDY SANCHEZ is going to come from out of obscurity and probably win the NL batting title with an average near .350?

At the beginning of the year I bet nobody would have even thought he'd get enough Plate Appearences to QUALIFY for the title.
