Default Party $22, push with 17BB?

Hello,

What do you think about this play...
The BB is 22/14 (8-10 handed)

Party Poker regular $22 sit and go
blinds 100/200

UTG t3000
MP t3000
CO t3000
BTN t3000
Hero t3400
BB t4600

Hero is the SB with Ks,8h
4 folds, Hero is all in t3400

According to SNGPT it is +EV
even if the BB calls pretty wide, like 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+

If you don't like the push, which line would be more +EV?

Greets,

u can do anything, id prob go limp > raise > fold > shove with limp and raise frequency depending on how i felt about how things were going. you're risking far too much for not enough with a not so great hand.

But looking to the math, it is +EV to push?

So why not always push...

Next level is 200/400 where you have to start shoving a lot so I don't like what shoving this does to your image. Like 75% of the time someones gonna lol at you in the chat and then everyone's gonna think youre just a maniac. So even if this push is sngpt +ev, it probably is but not by that much and especially compared to what you can do with 200/400 blinds, I don't like shoving.

MAN - You should make that into a poster - it is so true. So many people are "into" +EV and have forgotten how to play POKER.

I'm not cutting down the use of math and ICM and so forth but there is so much more to the game it's amazing.

I use tools like SnGW after I play to look at what was good an bad but many times I know that a push was +EV but I also knew sitting tight and making OTHER people make mistakes was even MORE +EV in the long run.

Win the war even if you need to fold a battle here an there.

I think limping and folding to a pf raise, with the intention of betting any flop is infinitely better than shoving pf here due to both image and risk/reward consideratons

I think pushing is horrible because if it's plus EV..it's very marginal. but most importantly its horrible for your image.
