Default Boring 25/50 limped pot hand

Im in the sb with 97s. Two limps to me and I complete, bb checks. Flop is 975, 75 of clubs. I bet 175, BB calls, UTG pops it to 800. Ive never seen the utg before in my life and Ive only been at the table ten hands. Action?

Edit: Stack sizes: 5k all around

This is almost always a made hnad better than yours, or a draw that doesn't mind playing for stacks, some sort of flush draw +straight draw type hand. Generally i don't think you give up very much by folding you, as i think 90%+ of the time you are slighly ahead or way behind. With that said, i also don't think getting it in is terrible, as a good part of his range here should incldue hand that are slighlty behind you.

I've never played 25/50, but isn't a squeeze with some mediocre hands relatively common here? I mean, do you put it past an unknown to be raising like A5, or JT (or any big semi-bluffing hands), since it's such a show of strength, and thus a decent spot for a bluff? This spot is a little gross I think, I don't feel great about any line.

Gabe,

folding here seems really weak. Based on your read, how do you like calling and c/r all in on a non club turn? Also, isn't AA/KK very possible?

I friggin hate the squeezing going on at 10/20. I can't even imagine how much it'd go on in 25/50.

I'd be interesed to know how the hand turned out though.

To me that smells like a big hand that limped preflop. Id 3 bet (willing to get it in). Id expect to be against an overpair or overs with a flush draw....

Aggre with ggbman. Would be suprized to see anything else then a better made hand or a heavy draw here. Possibly overpair or 75 on a good day. Folding should absolutely be considered.
With that said, I dont think I would fold against an unknown player in this situation.

most sensible players aren't messing around in this tiny pot after theres already been a bet and a call. I really dont think this will be just overs or any draw that isn't at least 12 outs.
