Not to mention the biggest upset, Lil Nog losing.

Nine fights, and five were upsets (going by sportsbook odds). Huge night for the underdog.

wowow, just watched the nog and gomi fights. surprised that diaz got a gogoplata, i never see that work vs competent people.

Did you see Aoki vs Hansen?

Also, I'm pretty sure Diaz could have finished him any way he wanted to from about halfway through the first round onwards--Gomi looked out. The fact he chose to use a gogoplata was awesome though. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

All the fights were awesome in my opinion. I especially liked the diaz gomi fight, the crowd was going crazy too.

Wow,

I really can't remember the last time I've ever seen someone gas like that. More so, I can't rember seeing anyone gas THAT WAY. He still threw with fire when he had the chance, but he just couldn't remotely keep his stance up. Agreed that as soon as Diaz made ground contact the fight was over.

So what does this do for opinons of the gap narrowing between Pride and UFC?

I usually go to a bar to watch UFC fights, do yall know if they show Pride fights at sports bars?

Depends. Call the bars that you know show UFC and ask them. I'm guessing all bars that show Pride will also show UFC, but not the other way around (a bar that shows Pride exclusively doesn't make much sense in America). I've watched UFC at probably 5 or 6 different bars and I have seen posters for Pride events at 2 of them.
