Re: Serious Penis Question - Need Help
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Is this weird - guys here with foreskins, do you basically jack off by pulling the foreskin up then down? [/ QUOTE ] You are using the correct technique. Congratulations! [/ QUOTE ] I have never seen an uncircumsized penis, but this just sounds painful. [/ QUOTE ] Actually on the contrary. Since the foreskin moves up and down readily, there is no need for lube, holla! And yeah, when I do it the foreskin rarely retracts all the way, and most of the time it doesn't even uncover the glans. [/ QUOTE ] I'm the same. When I first had sex, I didn't realise that the foreskin goes down all the way during intercourse...It was uncomfortable and I was totally not used to it [/ QUOTE ] Same here. I thought that was normal. [/ QUOTE ] You uncircumcised guys are all weird. My foreskin always goes all the way down, infact I like it when the girl pulls it all the way back to fully expose the glans while she gives me a [censored], or I will full expose the glans before putting my dick in her. Why would you want to desensitize yourself? |

Re: Serious Penis Question - Need Help
[ QUOTE ]
OP: My med school wife (who is NOT giving out medical advice, by the way) is interested in your story . . . She wants to know if you exhibit other normal masculine sexual characteristics: facial hair, low voice, etc. If I had to guess, I would say: 80% You're uncircumcised and your foreskin isn't properly functioning (let's hope this is the case). In this case, you low sex drive might simply be your noraml sexual attitude -- a surprisingly high percentage (5-10%) of Americans can best be described as "asexual". Wikipedia it for info. 15% You were born with ambiguous genitalia (happens more often than you know). Your parents ignored/were counseled against the prevailing wisdom of the day which said: if it's not clearly a penis, cut it off and raise the child as a girl. This happens more than you realize. A simple gender karyotype will settle whether this is the case. Your low sex drive might then be a result of definciencies of various hormones, correctable by therapy. Otherwise, you might be gay/confused about your sexual identity. 5% You are the victim of a botched circumcision. This is proabably much lower than 5% (by the way). Your parents would have made a mistake in not bringing this up before now if the second or third possibility is the reality. They may have been told by their doctor to wait until you asked questions in order to let you come to grips with your own sexual identity, etc. The only thing that makes your case very unusual is that you haven't had the kinds of experiences/family environment that has led you to get to the bottom of this sooner. As everyone else has suggested -- get to a doctor ASAP. They'll help you out. If you have the means, make sure you ask for a counseling referral too -- working out the kinds of issues this probably has created/will create for you will be much easier in the company of a professional counselor. Also -- ignore all the asses in here. In all my experience in ministry, I've learned that NO ONE is "normal". Everyone has issues they don't share openly. Good for you for finally asking for help. [/ QUOTE ] Thank you scalp, and all others who have helped so far. I'm about as male as you get. I have about average facial hair growth, and about an average voice, not too loud nor quiet. I'm about 5'11, a bit on the skinny side, but in very good shape. I played HS baseball/track, always been competitive at all sports. It does seem possible that what you describe, 'Phimosis,' as a one person posted, could be the case. I've checked it out, but there are few key differences in appearance between their images and when I look at mine...maybe a variation or something. I should know soon... I am going to a clinic first thing in the morning...even if I only get a referral, hopefully the doctor can give me something useful to go on. I'll give an update about that soon. Ryan |

"I'm 99%+ sure I was circumcised when I was born"
I've never seen circumcised equated with decapitated. Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. |

Re: Serious Penis Question - Need Help
[ QUOTE ]
For a long time I didn't understand references in American popular culture to hand lotion being used when guys jerk off, since if you have a foreskin (like most everybody here in Europe) you don't need it. [/ QUOTE ] really? I had no freaking idea. This thread has been something of an education. I just don't keep up with this penis-type stuff I guess. To all those who are railing on the parents: Is there any possibility at all that this is a bit premature? Any possibility that they didn't know he had anything wrong with him either because it was never diagnosed and they just don't know much about how others' penises are supposed to look? Guessing it looked a lot different (perhaps more normal) the last time they saw it which I would assume was at a fairly youngish pre-puberty age. |

Let's start a 2+2 whip-round to buy Ryanski some hookers and blow, so he can see if it works? I pledge $20!

Re: Serious Penis Question - Need Help
[ QUOTE ]
There is no way this post is real. No way anyone waits until whatever age OP is to get this checked out; no way the parents never mention it; no way this doesn't get brought up in the locker room or somewhere when people see your deformed penis; and no way a doctor somewhere along the line in a physical or something doesn't mention this. [/ QUOTE ] I could easily see how the shame/embarrassment of this could make the OP try to ignore it for a couple of decades. I think you're underestimating how uncomfortable people are talking about a (real or perceived) sexual abormality. BTW, chalk me up as another vote that the OP just has foreskin that's like welded to his shaft with 20-year-old smegma. |

Re: Serious Penis Question - Need Help
I can't believe you got to adulthood without talking to a doctor about it. Or at least a counselor or psychologist after other kids ripped your ego to shreds in the showers after P.E.
