The ones from that blog are what I'm familiar with. They're all over the parking lot here at work and were the ones in Boston/Brookline near where I lived. I noticed the smell is a little odder here in Sac County, probably due to the heat. It's like burnt cum.

the smells always get weirder the closer you get to Sac.

I bet they don't smell as bad as female ginkgo trees do. The "fruits" they produce smell like dog poop.

I have noticed this as well, and it was certainly the tree in the pic Tuq posted. Of course everyone mentioned it smelled like nut.

Surprised people don't know what it smells like. The only reasonable explanation is that there nut doesn't have a strong odor, or non at all.

Edit: I have also smelt it with other plants/trees, but that one posted above was the strongest. This shouldn't be that amazing though, there are male and female plants/trees. One has to bust a nut, right?

Do you go to the tanning bed a lot? Cause I do and my nut smells kind of burnt sometime.
