Sharp Sports Betting by Sanford Wong.
There is also a website http://www.sharpsportsbetting.com/.
They both seem pretty good to me but I'm a relatively new myself.

read that, as iv said, a lot has changed in last few days, including netellers pullout of us market which has impacted a lot of books im sure. looked at the review sites for books but im not sure still whats better over the other? freebets? or initial match bonus? or what? i could answer these different small differences if u asked about poker sites. but i dont know the small marginal differences in books just looking for a few opinions i guess.in poker there is reload bonuses being given out on a lot of sites, in the last few days, other sides have simply folded inward who showed promise (mansion).
again im not too 'knowledgable' about the whole logistics of this matter.
still looking for someone to point me in right direction please.

Honestly, unless you're really anxious to start, I'd wait until after the Super Bowl to start a new account. There's been speculation that books may choose to leave the U.S. after the game. I don't know if there's anything to the rumors, but it would make sense to wait until after the biggest gambling day of the year to leave.

With some of the more established sites (WSEX, TheGreek, Bodog, BetCRIS, etc.), I'd be very surprised if you couldn't ultimately get your money back if they pulled out. However, given the difficulty in getting money in and out of sites these days I'd recommend waiting until the dust begins to settle.

Cascade, Matchbook, BetJamaica, WSEX, Greek, and BetCRIS are the only places I would have money at the moment.

Actually, remove Cascade from the list now. I wouldn't bother with them now that they have standard -110 lines. They should be safe, though, just no extra incentive to bet there.

Sonny Jay, Homer, and Preformity. Thank you very much for your response as it coresponded with my original Q. This info about bgooks pulling out after the big game, the -110 line info and such has been VERY helpfull beyond someone saying "FAQ"...

i will infact put a bit in at BetCris i think, and keep it limited till after the game. this post is complete. ty.

I'm leaving money at Bodog as I like the option of betting sports and playing poker from one account. The fewer places to have money spread around the better.
