Default $5.50 turbo AK on the bubble.

UTG has been stealing like crazy. First hand in a while where he doesn't shove preflop.
No specific read on the BB.

Winamax No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (4 handed)

UTG (t9700)
Button (t300)
Hero (t2100)
BB (t2900)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero?</font>

Obviously, I'm thinking fold because of the extremely short stack on the button, but since the BB will probably think twice before risking 3/4 of his stack right now (he gotta be waiting for the button to bust too...), can a case be made for a shove here?

ship it in, hugely +ev. If he's calling range is this: 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+, ATC is a shove. I would shove a ton of hands in this spot.

Pretty easy shove IMO, BB should need to have a pretty big hand to want to call. I'd consider pushing with lots of hands here if BB isn't crazy.

I'm quite surprised, beause you guys seem to think this is an obvious shove, when I was guessing it was a marginal one at best.
The button has less than one big blind left, and he'll be all in in two hands, which to me is a pretty good argument for a fold.
The BB's stack is a problem too in my opinon: if we had him covered (let's say he's the one with t2100 and we have t2900), that would be an obvious push with pretty much atc, since we could threaten him with busting on the bubble. But that's not the case here. If he decides to call, it's our tournament life on the line, with a very good hand, but still a drawing hand...

Anyways, thanks for the feedback.

This would be a real question if you had T8 or J6.

Here you have AK and no particular read that BB will call you 100% of the time (which of course he shouldn't) so this is a highly +EV shove.
