Default Aces WTF, FTOPS #1

I'm new to the table and have no reads or stats. I can't get either lego or FTR to convert so I guess I'll just post it like this.

I really feel like I'm ahead of utg's range but have no idea what to make of sb's.

Pretty easy call. Which one you put on trip 8s, the guy who open shoves first to act or the UTG raiser?

I'm not sure what you're afraid of, with the action PF is SB really shoving an 8 on the flop here?

UTG looks like he has KK/AQ/who the hell cares, but I'm pretty positive you need to call here.

ok, cool.

I thought about it for 30 seconds and jammed. Just wanted to make sure.

Anyone care to speculate on a range for sb here?

It may not matter too much to the analysis, but SB isn't open-shoving -- he's using the ever so popular "bet pot" button, leading into 5 players on a Qd8d8 flop.

It doesn't change much in the hand, though, as calling is pretty much the only option on the flop.

By the way, why didn't you 3-bet preflop here? It seems like the best choice since you have no reads on the table and there are several people to act behind you.

I cc bc 3betting him looks super strong and he folds a ton of his range that could hit a flop and stack off to me. Plus there were tons of people behind me that could do something stupid. I didn't really expect a whole lot of overcallers.

Anyways I did some stoving and it's pretty obvious what I should do:

Board: Qd 8d 8s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 40.927% 39.90% 01.03% 248243 6389.00 { AcAs }
Hand 1: 29.847% 28.24% 01.60% 175728 9968.50 { QQ+, AdKd, AQs, AdJd, AdTd, KdJd, KdTd, JdTd, Td9d, 98s, AQo }
Hand 2: 29.227% 28.63% 00.60% 178136 3702.50 { AQs, AdJd, AdTd, Ad9d, A8s, Ad7d, KQs, QJs, Jd9d, Td9d, T8s, 98s, 86s+, AQo, KQo }
