difference between 10/20 and 25/50 NL?
I'm considering moving up to 25/50 after playing 10/20 for way too long. Is there really any difference? I've been watching the games for awhile and it seems about the same but I'd like to get some input from people that have actually made the jump. Also, will a decent winner at 10/20 have any trouble whatsoever winning at at 25/50? Basically just looking for any advice anyone is willing to offer.

no real diff besides the fact that i see a lot more ppl buying in short to the 25/50 game than the 10/20 game , making you have to adjust some play to dealing with shortstacks allin preflop about 1/10 hands.

I think it was Krantz (my apologies if it was someone else) who said that. So my guess is that unless you're absolutely killing 10/20, it wouldn't be wise to move up. |

Re: difference between 10/20 and 25/50 NL?
For some reason a lot of sites only offer 25-50 full ring. Obvious there should be some adjustments if you only played 6max b4.

Re: difference between 10/20 and 25/50 NL?
There is 25/50 6-max (FT) and FR (Stars) to choose from so thats not an issue. And at this level anyone who doesnt know how to instantly adjust based on how longhanded the game is shouldnt be playing that high to begin with.
That being said I'd really like some imput on this issue, particularly for someone who plays Bodog 10/20 FR and 6-max and Stars 10/20 6-max and is looking to move up to 25/50 FR on Stars. |

Hmm...not really worried about that post with KRANTZ since I've been doing way better on Stars and FTP than I ever did on Party. So I'll be playing 6 max at one or both of those sites.

With Ayn Rand at your side, you should be fine.

"My philosopy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose to his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute."
