Default Where\'s Prahlad?

I used to really enjoy Spirit Rock tear up/break up the high stakes tables, but havn't seen him lately. Anyone know where he's been? The games have gotten huge on Full Tilt, and I'd really like to see him take a shot at Sbrugy, Luigi, etc.

He lost alot of money on prima around the WSOP time. Saw him a few months ago playing 25/50 and 50/100 on fulltilt but he was very passive and predictable. Then saw him a month ago playing HU 25/50 NLH on UB and was on insane monkey tilt. He ended up down 10BI in the game and thats the last I have seen of him.

I never understood why he was considered such a good player. I felt like a lot of his plays were extremely weak and emotionally based. Particularly his infamous river overbets which I feel are -EV even at 25/50 or 50/100 nl

Because hype takes on a life of its own, and I think his style and short-term results set him apart when there too weren't many other more skillful HSNL players (like Aba, Ozzy, etc) around.

He dominated the biggest online NLHE cash game for a pretty long period of time. Whether it was running good or just weaker opponents I dont know, but for anyone who watched those games a lot or datamined it, he stood way way ahead of the competition for a while. And by long time and while I mean relatively not the "long term" in the poker sense.

He used to be considered a good player b/c of an extensive track record of beating what were the biggest games online for something like 18 months and being amongst the biggest winners. It would seem that he lost a ton of money playing super high to Lodden and other solid opponents and his game hasn't been the same since, but chalking up his sucess over the previous year and a half to anything but playing with a big edge would be silly IMO.

I saw him playing 25/50 6 handed maybe 2 weeks ago on UB.

from what I understand he may have come to realize that he is not +ev vs anyone online(as he may have thought in the past)
