Borgota or Foxwoods??
I am trying to decide between Borgota and Foxwoods for a weekend in August. I will play for 3 days--looking for 5,10 NL. My criteria: game availability, quality, poker room quality, hotel quality. Comments and suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Borgota or Foxwoods??
Thanks. But I cannot find the relevant reference to cardrooms. Can you try a more specific link?

Re: Borgota or Foxwoods??
I was only at Foxwoods one time and I remember the poker room being run pretty poorly with a lot of bad dealers. I would say that unless Foxwoods was much closer than AC go with AC (Borgata in your case).

Re: Borgota or Foxwoods??
Hey, new to the boards, but Foxwoods have been my stomping grounds since Turning Stone took my balls.
The rake is $5 for the lows, $6 for mids ($2-$5) which is what I play. Other than the kinky colors (the official theme color of Foxwoods is a magenta purple and teal), it's pretty decent. I can't speak for Borgota, but you can't really go wrong with the largest poker room on the East Coast at Fox. There's old fish there, so your pickings should be open. Hope that helped. |
