I have a Bob Marley poster.

Having a Marley poster in college is pretty cliche', at least in the States. But mostly my point is that nowadays it's been so co-opted that a Che shirt says about as much about your politics as a Marley poster does.

Well, one big difference is that most college kids have listened to, and enjoyed, Legend at the very least, whereas most people who sport Che-wear only know that he's a badass-looking Mexican dude!

I think wearing an image of Che Guevara is easily the most distinct mark of douchiness, but hasn't it been for 5-10 years or so? I think the fad goes much farther back than 6 mos. or a year.
