Default I 4bet with A8s

Villain is 21/17/1.7 and seems to be a somewhat decent player.
He really came after me and was reraising my raises very frequently. Should I just have shoved preflop? Is 4betting here spew?
Is there any value in shoving on this board?

not a great flop for shoving, also i like 4betting to about $70 here

i never know exactly what people call 4bets with. i never do it personally.

QQ's they tend to do it with.

sometimes slowplayed AA. maybe AK

i don't like really like folding with all the money in the pot though so i'm shoving here 50% of the time anyway. we have an A and runner runner spades if called

4betting heres fine, i probably just check behind and fold most turns though. He's not calling preflop to fold this type of board under most circumstances.

Abort seems like the best option here. I don't see the value of shoving. 21/14/1.7 calling a 4 bet just spells QQ+ according to his hand range. Unless you're dead sure he has AK and you can knock him off it, I say the shove on the flop is not gonna work.

why is everybody talking about shoving? why not just bet like 75$ if we decide to bet (i'm not saying we should bet, but mb we should if we know his range is QQ+,AK)?

or is shoving everything when you are commited when you bet anyway standard? openshove AA here?
